Well, FFXIV has been out for over a month now and even I (an extreme optimist and patient woman) have to say things are looking grim. SE has extended free trial from 30 to 60 days, a lot of its gamers complaining they are simply paying for the same beta version a lot of us have already played. This is true in many ways, we have yet to see much more than bug fixes and system tweaks, and if this is the game they wanted us to have then it was extremely poor execution on SE's behalf.
